The first time I ever went to a Sonic like 10+ years ago, I was super disappointed that they didn't come out on skates. Isn't that what the whole point is?! So I was very happy to see that these guys were on wheels as we drove up. Plot twist! There's an inside to this Sonic Beach! Cool! Very nice inside, too. The only problem is that it seems like service is faster sitting in your car outside than it is to go inside. One register and a line of people almost to the door. Another lady opened up a 2nd register for credit or debit only. Our group headed that way to be second in that line... except she walked away after taking the first order. Fail. So we waited, and she came back a couple minutes later to take our order. She made up for our extended wait with her friendliness, though. So much so that my friend got a free cream slush later for no reason! Others who served us were just as smile-y and friendly too. Makes for a great environment. Food is typical for a fast food restaurant. Not really the thing to talk about here. Good but not great.

7/28/15 visit - went shortly after 11pm - 2/3 of the operations shut down , from the drive up roller skating, car hops to inside walkup / dine in counter all close at 11pm only option is drive thru & I was car #15 in line. I will say line moved well, 1 min per car average, = total wait time 15 min , too get to my trophy, the Milkshakes. Well with so many Flavors we decided to try two different ones this time Oreo Cheesecake & the Banana cream pie shake. Both shakes ordered small size still good amount for a treat, both were good ,even cherry ( I don't really like cherries) but minor things off today , they may of added added oreo cookies & graham crackers, & over blended both shakes, a little too gritty, no fresh banana found this time. Whip cream is not creamy on top, more like a plastic thin film covered the whip cream. Still good value at 50% off after 9pm & now 50% off all day Friday. I hope this Sonic location w/ local young staff, can avoid inconsistency & quality control issues. Will give them another try. Cost - $3.50 - value level - good Rating 8.0

I love going to Sonic. When I see the employees skating through the parking lot...it puts a smile on my face and reminds me of skating as a child. I love their Cookie Dough Blast with no whipped cream. The last couple of times they have forgotten to leave off the whipped cream. I've noticed that instead of them remaking the Blast before giving it it me...they simply scoop off the whipped cream and leave remnants of the whipped cream behind. I understand that people make mistakes, but, it's never ok to scoop off whipped cream and leave remnants of whipped cream behind. They have also left holes in the blast in the areas where they were trying to scoop out the whipped cream. Sonic, you have a decent Blast, but, this problem has to be solved as soon as possible.

So sonic has been near and dear to my heart since I had it in central florida! You would not believe my excitement as soon as I heard a brand new one was going to open right next to SunLife Stadium. When you pull up to the restaurant. You get the old school park and dine experience one would expect when visiting Sonics. It was pretty clear due to a Miami Dolphin game that was about to start in an hour or so. I ordered my food and it came out just the way I pictured it. The tater tots were hot not oily and crispy! The burger that came in Texas toast was juicy and filling. They don't go light on the ketchup or other condiments when you ask for it. All in all I will never really review fast food chains because there's nothing really to talk about. However, I do make an exception because I absolutely love Sonic!

Okay so it varies with this Sonics. I am happy that I have a location that is relatively near my house. The staff has been super nice, however, they always forget something in my order and I forget to check my order like a dummy when I'm at the window. 3/4 times I've been here I've been missing something from my order. And not just drinks and things but I was missing my MOLTEN CAKE SUNDAE!!! Which I happen to LOVE! It was terrible when I got home and saw my order incomplete. Other than that, their staff is nice and the food is pretty good.

If you've never been to a Sonic's before, what are you doing? This one in particular is located right across from Dolphins stadium so it was the clear cut favorite to go to before the game. Despite kickoff being only an hour away, there was hardly anyone at the place. They've got lots of places to sit so if you want to avoid all the crappy stadium food (or getting beat up by the prices), you should swing by here for a burger and tots. They have quite a bit of drive-in stations so if you're looking for a quick meal as well, make sure to make your way.

I don't see how nobody has reviewed this Sonic yet? It is located right across Sun Life Stadium and in the same plaza as Walmart. Pretty good amount of parking spaces and I know everyone in the area was super excited as they heard this was opening right here. It is a perfect location for a quick lunch for the stadium employees and for fans of the Miami Dolphins when they come on Gamedays or other Dolphins events for a quick bite. The best part has to be that this establishment holds true to their theme of roller skating the food to you after you "placed your oder at the drive thru". I have been to two other Sonic's and both didn't have people roller skating and one was very small and limited amount of parking spaces. This one beats those stores because it offers both ample parking and roller skaters. I did laugh once when a waitress fell, but luckily she wasn't carrying any food..Look out for their happy hour specials- slushies and shakes go cheap!

The restaurant is super cute. It has a beach theme with sand and all. The staff is very nice but the manager can use a attitude change. She makes the staff visibly nervous. The girl talking our order inside was new but very good and super nice. She made a few mistakes but only because the manager was rude and rushing her. Poor kid.

This my third experience at Sonics. 2nd at this specific location. First off, the employees didn't provide the full experience of the roller skates. Secondly, while ordering the server at the window repeated my order 3 times and it was still wrong. Received the order and food was missing. Explained to the server who brought the food and he began to raise his voice and not listen to what I was trying to explain. He brought the food item that was missing and I told him we were missing "ranch dressing." He explained that there was sauce in the bag and I said once again we need Ranch dressing. He then told me "I need to listen." Over all the customer service was not acceptable but the food was good. Fries, chicken strips and the half priced shakes after 8 helped me to not rate Sonics Miami Gardens a 2.

Great food and the best ambiance I've seen for a "fast" food place BUT it took 50 min for a burger and fries- definitely not sonic speed . We came after the Color Run and there was only one person in line- but they only had one person taking orders. Staff was nice- but this is not efficient. 5 star food, 1 star speed it would average a 3 if it wasn't named Sonic

Today was my first time trying Sonic's. I ordered tater tots, an Oreo shake & an Oreo Blast. After I placed my order I realized I didn't want the Oreo Blast & instead wanted an Oreo shake...this is where the issues began. The girl at the drive thru window informed me that they couldn't give me an Oreo Shake because the Oreo Blast had already been made. I have yet to be to an establishment that wasn't able to change my order, regardless of it had already been made or not. I asked the girl to please ask someone to change it to a shake. She stepped away from the window for a moment and returned saying no there was nothing that they could do because it had already been made. I told her again that I did not want the Oreo Blast and to just give me the rest of my order instead. This time she returned to the window saying they were going to fix it. I received what looked like two milkshakes and my tater tots and I pulled away. Come to find out they put the Oreo Blast into a milkshake cup, stuck a straw in it, covered it with whipped cream and handed it to me. Anyone who has ever had one of these blasts must know that it is too thick to possibly suck in a straw. Is it really too hard to add milk or to just create a milkshake? Instead you have to lie and be deceitful? Between the difficulty changing my order & the "trick" of the blast switch I will NOT be returning to Sonic.

Ok, I just visited this place just to have a milkshake, but I was dissapointed with the flavor I chose. I'm sure that there are other, better flavors, but the nutella shake I ordered did not even reminded me of the true taste of nutella.

Being from Texas I've always been a big Sonics fan. So I was super excited to find one in Miami near my house. It's kinda of hidden and there's a lot of traffic, but overall it's in a nice area by the stadium. There's the option of the drive thru or just parking. My husband and I decided to park and order. The servers are on roller skates and are very polite. We had no issues with our food or waiting. It's like any other Sonics, so if you're a Sonic fan you will not be disappointed.

I came here on a date and I don't have much of a sweet tooth but the shakes here are the best I've tasted they are super thick and it comes with so much if you had a meal before it's a tough one to take down completely. I loved the fact they have an outside seating area with beach sand and umbrellas . Calm vibes I'm definitely coming again.
